Fantasy and Memory

A series of nooks follow around the loop in this area to support a number of stories including the miniature world of Stewart Little.  Flowers attracting butterflies support the book Waiting for Wings.  Who doesn’t enjoy a beautiful butterfly garden?  The loop leads to a secluded area for memories, featuring the wonderful book Wilfred Gordon McDonald Partridge.  Comfortable rocking chairs invite visitors to share memories triggered by items in memory baskets.  A memorial wall allows for remembrances of individuals and a small tree provides opportunity for donor recognition leaves.

• Learn to capture and preserve rainwater –Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.
• Just like The Three Bears build a house of sticks or straw, the brick one is already there.
• Climb and play in some large nests just like Horton’s, in Horton Hatches the Egg.
• Celebrate your memories and leave a message in the memory wall.
