15th anniversary T-SHIRT Design CONTEST Guidelines
We’re celebrating our 15th season, and we want YOU to help us commemorate this milestone with a special limited-edition anniversary t-shirt design! This contest is your opportunity to create a design that captures the spirit of our 15-year journey and represents the whimsy and joy that has defined Bookworm Gardens. Whether you’re an experienced designer or a passionate fan, we invite you to join the celebration and submit your design!

The contest is open to everyone everywhere.
Theme
15 Years of Whimsical Wonder and Magical Memories at Bookworm Gardens".
We’re looking for designs that celebrate the past 15 seasons, capturing the excitement, growth, and milestones we’ve experienced together.
Your design could feature iconic elements from our history, memorable moments, or creative representations of the number “15”
How to Enter
Submit your design to info@bookwormgardens.org by Sunday, March 9. Be sure to include your full name, contact information, and a brief description of your design. You may submit up to 4 entries per person.
Prizes
First Prize: Your design featured on our official anniversary t-shirt and tickets to all applicable 2025 season events
Runner(s)-Up: tickets to select 2025 season events
The winning designs will be printed and sold as part of our limited-edition 15th season anniversary collection
Important Dates
Contest Start Date: Wednesday, February 19
Submission Deadline: Sunday, March 9
Winner Announcement: Monday, March 17 on social media and email
Design Requirements
File Format
Submissions must be in a high-resolution digital format, such as PNG, JPEG, or PDF.
Files should be at least 300 DPI to ensure high-quality printing.
Size Specifications
The design should be created to fit a standard print area of 12” x 12” (30 cm x 30 cm).
Designs should be suitable for front and/or back print areas.
Design Style
The design must be original and created by the entrant. No plagiarized or copyrighted content will be accepted.
Designs should be bold and visually appealing, but also mindful of print quality (e.g., avoid overly intricate details that may not transfer well onto fabric).
Consider how your design will look on various t-shirt colors (light and dark).
Color Palette
You may use up to 4 colors in your design. Actual colors may vary from original design based on printing capabilities.
Ensure that the design is versatile enough to work on both light and dark t-shirt colors, and keep in mind the printing method (screen printing or direct-to-garment).
Content Restrictions
Designs should reflect the celebratory nature of our 15th anniversary.
Avoid offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory content.
Do not include any external logos, trademarks, or content that violates intellectual property rights.
Rights and Ownership
By entering this contest, you confirm that your design is your original work and that you hold the rights to it.
You grant Bookworm Gardens, Inc the exclusive right to reproduce, distribute, and sell your design on t-shirts and other merchandise related to our 15th season anniversary.
The winning designer will be credited with all relevant materials and products.
If your design is not selected as the winner or a runner-up, you retain full ownership and rights to it.
Additional Notes
We reserve the right to disqualify any entry that doesn’t meet the guidelines.
Bookworm Gardens will have the final decision on the winning design.
