The Power of Pollination | June 1, 2026

What do bees, birds, butterflies, and bats all have in common? They are all local pollinators!

Join us in learning the power of pollination and why plants need to be pollinated. Families will be able to participate in hands-on activity stations set up throughout our outdoor garden spaces. This day is targeted for at-home students (3K-High School) and their grown-ups to explore and learn together.

Since we are closed to the public on Mondays, this program is for pre-registration only. This slower moving day allows families to go through the Gardens at their own pace. Please arrive during your selected time slot — the four times are: 11:30 am, 12 pm, 12:30 pm and 1 pm. All participants are welcome to stay until 3 pm.

Pricing:

  • Members: $6

  • Public: $10

  • Free under 2 years old

Pre-registration is required for participation.

Groups are welcome to picnic in our Magic School Bus picnic space either prior or after the program. Please note that Bookworm Gardens has a carry in, carry out trash policy.
